When approached about helping out with Beyond the Ivy, Bill
replied, "It's about Wrigley?....Hell with it, let's do
it!!"
Billy's acting career has spanned 3 decades of quality work
on both stage and screen. (His Remains Theater was originally
based out of the current Ginger Man Tap a block from Wrigley
Field.)
His screen work includes the films Manhunter, To Live and Die
in L.A. and The Contender, but he's recently found his most
popular success in the role of the curious criminologist, Gil
Grissom, on the highly rated CBS show, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
The Evanston native's rich narration provides the driving force
behind the Beyond the Ivy video. As a resident of numerous apartments
directly facing the ballpark in his formative years, on matters
regarding Wrigley, he knows of what he speaks.
